I haven't received a phone call from the hospital saying that I have gestational diabetes! Yeah! I think a lot of women find this problem when they are pregnant!
My hands are getting really puffy now, especially my right hand - which is strange. I am also finding that my right leg swells significantly more than my left too. I mentioned this to my brother in law who is studying Medicine. He thought this was interesting too. I asked him if there was any reason. He said it might be to do with placement of where the placenta is and the way the lymphatic system flows. He explained the details to me but I won't try to re-explain it even though I understand it (thanks to my Anatomy & Physiology knowledge through Remedial Massage).
